Prodloužený víkend nabídl možnost si letos poprvé zkusit zahrát jednotlivce. Kromě loděnického turnaje se v pátek na Prvního máje konal již tradiční Albrechtický kahan. Kapacita turnaje byla opět téměř zaplněna už týdny před započetím bojů, což ukazuje, jak je pétanque letos hodně využívanou aktivitou.
Rakouský turnaj série nejprestižnějších středoevropských klání ovládla domácí reprezentace v čele s naturalizovaným Francouzem Lionelem Bossardem a mladým vynikajícím střelcem Svenem Thillem. Vítěznou čtveřici doplňovali Stéphane Barbery a Christopher Salzmann. Druhé a třetí místo obsadily slovinské triplety.
