V den 96. výročí vzniku Československa se v Klášterních zahradách v Chrudimi konal jeden z letošních posledních turnajů v českém kalendáři, který nesl název Kapucínova koule. Nejlepšími byli nakonec 23. nasazení Miroslav Řehoř a Zdeněk Šedivý.
Hráčům se zjevně nechce končit sezona, a tak byla kapacita přihlášených už dlouho dopředu beznadějně naplněna. Pořadatelé dokonce ještě den předem spekulovali jak poskládat hřiště, aby vyhověli i dalším zájemcům, kteří se mezi 47 dvojic nevešli a hlásili se ještě i telefonicky či e-mailem.
