Ve vídeňském Donauparku pod nejvyšší budovou – Dunajskou věží se v sobotu sobotu 28. dubna uskutečnil první ročník turnaje INDUS OPEN. Jasně na něm dominovali Fighters, kteří získali prize money 600 €.
Pořádající klub Vienna International Pétanque (VIP) se snažil na nový turnaj přilákat co nejvíce týmů, včetně zahraničních, proto se rozhodl vítězi věnovat kromě poháru i nadstandardní prize money. Přesto se v krásném prostředí rozkvetlého parku za slunečného počasí sešlo „pouhých“ pětadvacet týmů, z toho dva české a jeden slovenský, všechny ostatní byly domácí rakouské.
