Po devět let nebyl nejstarší lipnický turnaj trojic Koule z Aurory bodován českou asociací. Letos se opět vrátil mezi bodované turnaje.
Jen málo ze špičkových hráčů pétanque není uvedeno coby vítězové na podstavci putovního děla, které loni přešlo definitivně, po sedmnáctém ročníku, do vlastnictví trojice Jana Fafková, Petr Fafek a Sylva Mandíková. A tento tým – s malou obměnou, v níž Mandíkovou nahradil Petr Vavrovič mladší, zvítězil 24. října také v tomto ročníku.
