Na startu Čerlinka Cupu se v sobotu za krásného počasí sešlo 19 dvojic, což se zdálo být tak trochu zklamáním, protože tento turnaj vždy patřil k vydařeným a oblíbeným už jen pro svoji pohostinnost. Hlavní partner totiž již tradičně pro všechny hráče připravil pečené a uzené prasátko. Tentokrát ale s tímto termínem kolidovaly turnaje jiné – mnohem významnější, a tak se stalo, že si vítězové neodvezli ani jeden žebříčkový bod.
