Třiadvacet týmů přijelo v sobotu 21. července na brněnskou Slatinu na turnaj dvojic. Ten sice aspiroval na Prestige, ale ranní počet hráčů neodpovídal ani kategorii Regional. „Ještě čekáme na Frantu Stejskalovýho a Jardu Kravku,“ hlásil ředitel turnaje Franta Harašta. Pořadatelé se jim sice pokoušeli dovolat, ale O2 ten den zkolabovala po ránu síť a telefony byly hluché. Aby turnaj byl bodovaný, musel se nakonec jeho ředitel spolu s manželkou Evou zařadit mezi hráče, čímž bylo dosaženo stanoveného limitu 24 v počtu dubletů.
